Duty Free Security Co. Ltd operates the Sealed Bag System in Australia, supporting eligible travellers to purchase goods duty free or tax free, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) free, up to 60 days before departing Australia.

The Sealed Bag System is available to Australian retailers, including licensed duty free stores and general tax free retailers. Today, a large number of retailers across Australia use the system to facilitate compliant duty free and tax free purchases for departing international travellers.

Duty Free Security Co. Ltd is a non-profit organisation that has been operating since 1978. We work closely with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Australian Border Force (ABF) to support the effective administration of the Sealed Bag System and assist retailers in meeting their obligations.
